We were so sorry to hear about Silas' diagnosis, and then his passing so soon. Obviously we don't always understand what God's plans are for our lives, but we trust Him. I can only imagine the sting and the hurt that you are feeling right now, including the hole in your heart. We thank Jesus that He is the heart mender and our Abba Father that we can run to when our lives are turned upside down. I had the pleasure of working with Silas for many years. I will miss him. He was a good friend.

I've had the pleasure of working with your husband.  My condolences.

It was always a pleasure having Silas on my team in PHX. He was a hard working man who loved his wife and often asked to leave early to spend time with her. We teased him lovingly, but ususally let him go! His coworkers loved him and knew they were in good hands with Goodspeed. His smile will stay with all that knew him, and he will be missed very much. Dear Goodspeed Family: Just wanted you to know that we are thinking and praying for you here in Rapid City, SD. I have many fond memories of Silas. Trains and tomato soup is what comes to mind from babysitting. I was happy to teach him in Sunday school when he was 5 and just starting his earthly journey.  He was such a cute  little boy, a true little Christian soldier! Precious memories!

All of our love and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. May you find strength and comfort in knowing Jesus is by your side and  Silas is in the loving arms of our Lord in Heaven.
