Sonny Lee Jones Sr.

Born on April 15, 1930, Sonny lived a life defined by strength, resilience, faith, and an unwavering love for his family. Through the decades, he witnessed tremendous changes in the world, yet remained a constant source of wisdom, guidance, and love for those fortunate enough to know him.

Sonny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Delia Jones, and his sons, Ronald Jones and Robert Jones. While their loss left an immeasurable void in his heart, he carried their memories with him throughout his life.

He is lovingly survived by his son, Sonny Lee Jones Jr.; his cherished grandchildren, Angelique Jones, Tiffany Cohen, Rebecca Apple Bee, and Robert Jones Jr.; as well as many great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride.

Sonny’s greatest accomplishment was the family he helped build and nurture. His legacy lives on through the generations that follow him, carrying forward the values, stories, and love he shared throughout his 96 years.

Those who knew Sonny will remember his kind heart, his quiet strength, his enduring spirit, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing he lived a long, meaningful life and has been reunited with his beloved wife and sons.
