Jan and family--I received the letter of Steve's death today, August 17th with much shock and sorrow.  Jan-the years we have known each other are many-  you and Steve before the kids, you and Steve as he was in Law School, and working at the mill, always and forever my special friends. The years of sharing joy, pain, good advice, laughter, that distance and time could never destroy. He loved you, adored his children;  spoiled his grandchild I am sure.  My heart aches for you and your loss my friend.  May your faith and God's love bring yo comfort.  Laura K.

I was heartbroken to hear of Steves passing yesterday.  Steve was an amazing man, and probably the most brilliant, caring person,  I've ever met.  My entire family were clients of Steves, but most of all we considered him a dear friend.  Somehow he was never to busy for anyone, I'm sure all of his clients can remember great conversations with Steve at the dining room table, I will forever cherish those moments.  My prayers go out to all of Steves family at this time, may God watch over you and bless you all during this difficult time.  Steve will remain in all our hearts forever, those who knew him, were truly blessed.

We were so very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Our prayers are with your family at this difficult time. We considered Steve a friend and consultant and always looked forward to our visits with him. We will miss him as he was truly one of a kind. A kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor. Steve prepared our taxes from the beginning of his practice. He became a trusted and dear friend in the process.  He and Janice raised a wonderful family of which they can be proud.  He was kind and dedicated and we shall miss him dearly.

I was sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, so many years ago. It is always tough to lose someone that you love, but the hope that you will see him again and be reunited helps you to get through the sadness of missing that person. Steve was such a kind man and so nice to my father (Keith Sasser) when doing his tax returns for many years.  He was absolutely brilliant in understanding tax law.

My wife and I were very saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Steve had prepared our taxes since opening his practice in the early nineties and was a very dear friend and business partner who treated us with dignity and professionalism. He was very helpful to us when we were in need and did not hesitate to be of service.
Our condolences and deepest sympathies go out to his wonderful family. We will miss him very much.

Janice, The love and life you shared together will never be forgotten. Steve had a way with life, his family and his career that has left an imprint on so many. We will remember the dedication and care he so generously gave to our family over the past 25 years.

Such a wise and busy man and yet always took the time to just sit and chat. I appreciated his wit and knowledge as well as his tax expertise. I am very sad for the loss of Mr. Morford and pray for God to comfort his family.

Dear Janice and Family, we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.  Although we only spoke a few times a year, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed speaking with Steve.  His amazing wisdom and passion for his clients/friends was nothing I have experienced before.  A truly great man will be missed.

Steve so obviously delighted in his beautiful family, from his adoring and amused looks at Jan to the beaming joy on his face with Eric. His enthusiasm, dedication and kindness lives on in Scott, Matt and Kira. Prayers for comfort, strength and peace.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Steve has blessed my family in so many ways.  He had a depth of wisdom and kindness that I will never forget.  I hope that you will find comfort in the special memories of your years together.
