Sue and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1952 after her father contracted emphysema. She graduated from Camelback High School and enjoyed a career in the restaurant business, rising to the position of general manager for Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
She was married twice. Once to Andrew Ballent, with whom she had a daughter, Stacia Anne. And to Thaddeus (TK) Kotwasinski, with whom she had a son, Michael Patrick.
She loved animals (specifically dogs and cats), chardonnay, a good book, Willie Nelson, time with her family and the occasional trip with her brother, Jeff.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur; mother, Doris; stepfather, Dick; brother, Tim; and son, Michael. She is survived by her daughter, Stacia (Tom); brother, Jeff; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Reid, Reily and Spencer; and cat, Scout.
