Sueo Kimura 90 of Phoenix, passed away on Sept. 7, 2010, with family members by his side. He will be greatly missed by his family, to whom he was a devoted & loving husband, father & grandfather. With his wife Mitsuko, they tirelessly worked together to realize their hopes and dreams for their family. A 65 year resident of Arizona, he impacted so many people, by being a true & trusted friend as well as a respected business man & employer. Sueo was born in Carver, Oregon. He came to Arizona in 1945, after WWII and being interned in the Minidoka Japanese interment camp in Idaho, with a great willingness to work hard to succeed. His first job was picking cotton by day & driving a tractor by night. Sueo owned & operated his own farming company, Farm-2-U Inc. For 35 years, Farm-2-U supplied fruits & vegetables to grocery chains, restaurants, & retail locations throughout the valley. Farm-2-U markets were known throughout the valley and was the most popular place to shop for quality produce. During some years, almost the entire inventory of the valley's Italian squash was from his farm; wholesale produce buyers called him the "Squash King". After Sueo's retirement from farming, he started a new business the "Desk King", supplying office furniture, for 15 years to the public as well as large companies. Sueo was an avid bowler for 60 years and he won numerous league championships. Sueo is survived by his loving wife Mitsuko Yagi; sons Ronald (JoAnn), Barry (Robyn), & Bruce (wife Maria); grandchildren Amy Washio (Atsushi), Jeffrey, Kathy Williamson (John), Kristine Njai (Malik), Michan, Bruce Jr., Jesse, Neftali, & Jimmy; great grandchildren A.J., Miyako, Zachery, Shelby and Moussa.
