Susan Marie Wheatcraft

Susan Marie Beagle was born May 9th, 1955 in Sunnyslope, AZ to the late Elenore and Charles Beagle.

She married Richard Wheatcraft on November 30, 1973 in Phoenix, AZ. She was employed by American Greetings as a merchandiser for 20 years.

She loved thrifting and junking, and ran a booth in a resale shop for 17 years. She enjoyed making costumes and more than anything, loved to show them off at the Renaissance festival, where she also enjoyed her favorite bagpipe-inspired band: Tartanic. She was a stay-at-home mother, PTA president, and was actively involved in her children’s lives.

Surviving are her sister Joanie Huffman and children, Stephanie Wheatcraft (Trey Welch). Jeff (Aimee) Wheatcraft, Mitch (Heather) Wheatcraft, Beth (Patrick) Watson; grandchildren Mason Wheatcraft, Noah Wheatcraft, Alaina Wheatcraft, Luci Davis,Camden Wheatcraft, Lily Wheatcraft, James Watson, Joy Watson, and Molly Wheatcraft.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother Paul, brother-in-law John Huffman and nephew Neil Adams.

A visitation for Susan will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
