Tammy was born in Phoenix on October 28, 1977 and graduated from Maryvale High School in 1996. She attended classes at Phoenix College before becoming a flight attendant for 10 years with America West Airlines.
Tammy leaves behind her parents, Paul and Mary Dykstra, her sister, Kelly Dykstra, her fiancé, Timothy Johnson, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Tammy's life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 1-4 p.m. at the Viad Tower, 1850 N. Central Ave., Phoenix.
