Terry was born on November 8, 1950, in Warren, Ohio to Richard and Jane Rinda. After graduating from Conestoga High School in Berwyn, PA, he received his degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1972. Terry worked his entire career for ServiceMaster until his retirement.
He was Pops to six loving grandchildren: Annabelle Rinda, Audrey Rinda, Abby Rinda, Erin Rinda, Bennett Hansen and Colin Hansen and step-grandchildren Addis Curd and Henry Curd.
Terry was a loving and witty man. He had a love for the game of golf and would talk about various courses and specific holes he had the fortune to play such as Pebble Beach. He was truly happy when on the beach in his favorite spot, Hatteras, NC. Terry also had a passion for bird watching and even owned two stores with his son Sean that specialized in the outdoor enjoyment of Birds. He would go as far as to wake the family up at 4:30 a.m. while in Hatteras to make the 5 a.m. birdwatching tour at the lighthouse. You could always count on Terry to be the life of a party wearing his “party” shirts, usually of the loud Hawaiian variety. He was quick to demonstrate dance moves at weddings such as the infamous Gator. Terry was also given the honor to officiate at one of his niece’s weddings. Terry enjoyed the many sites and parks in Arizona and would frequent the Phoenix Symphony Hall to enjoy concerts and shows.
If you knew Terry it is very likely he made you think, laugh, and appreciate family and friendships.
