Thomas Harris, a man of deep faith and unwavering dedication, was born on October 4, 1936, and peacefully entered eternal rest on April 11, 2026, at the age of 89. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to both his family and his Lord.
The third of ten children, Thomas learned the value of family early in life. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably for 23 years before retiring in 1976. Following his military career, he spent a year working in Saudi Arabia.
Thomas accepted Christ at the age of 12, a decision that guided him throughout his life. For 21 years, he was a faithful member of Fountain of Life Church, where he served as an usher with humility and grace, always welcoming others with a warm and steady presence.
He shared a remarkable love story with his wife, Yvonne, whom he met when she was just 12 years old. Their union spanned 68 years, marked by commitment, faithfulness, and a love that endured through every season of life.
He was preceded in death by his son, Erik: He leaves behind his beloved wife, Yvonne; children Jeannie and Michael Harris; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his siblings; and a host of extended family and friends.
Though he walked through a long and courageous health journey, we find comfort in knowing that he is now in his eternal home-whole, restored, and at peace. His life stands as a legacy of faith, service, and enduring love.
