Thomas "Ted" Theodore Wilson Jr.

92, of Phoenix, went to be with the Lord March 5, 2012. Born the ninth of ten children to Thomas T. and Etta C. Wilson at home near Montgomery Indiana. Survived by his wife, Delma; 2 daughters, Stephanie (Chuck) Thompson and Leah (Lou) Morse; 1 son, Tod (Cindy) Wilson; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He graduated from Purdue University in June 1941 and taught High School for 1 year in Southern Indiana when he was called to serve his country in the U.S. Army, where he was involved in the European Theater during WWII. He was an active member of his church for 66 years, serving as an elder, treasurer, teacher and choir member. He was a charter member of the Papago Toast Masters Club where he earned his DTM award. He worked for SRP for 37 years and being retired he was an avid gardener and loved to read.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Lincoln Heights Christian Church 2121 E. Lincoln Drive Phoenix, AZ 85016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Kulpahar Kids Home c/o Ann Huffman P.O. Box 32574 Phx., AZ 85064. www.almoore-grimshaw.com
