Thor was the greatest man i had the pleasure of knowing, always there for anyone who needed him,quick to help anyone out and the best listener ever. He will be greatly missed by all and greatly missed by me. I will never forget the stories of Hawaii he had to share when i came back from my trip there. Love you Thor and miss you so much! xoxoxoxo

I met Thor a few years ago. We became great friends..... Ohana. There is so much to say. I can talk about how wonder he is..... how much i loved him, how he was and will always be family to me, how wonderful his sons, daughters, sister, and wife were to me..... i much i love them and are grateful for them.... how much i love and miss Loki..... Thank you Thor, I am a better person for knowing you. Aloha

You were one of a kind my friend.  Never could I have believed that a being would exist that could inspire and flatten someone within seconds.  Thor, you were "the hammer and the heart" and I will never forget your kindness, love or friendship.  One of my favorite memories is one Christmas in Renton when you were sure the tree you cut, would fit in the house. But alas... the "Chanukah bush" was born. Another is when Pat, Erik, Matt and I were painting the great room and you were driving us all mad with your critique & supervision.  When it was all finished we had a great BBQ and you sat and admired YOUR work... I smile as I write this. Yes Sir, you were one of a kind and you will truly be missed.  Peace, love and light to Pat, the Briggs men and their lovely families.

I met Thor in PalTalk, and from the first day of meeting him I knew he was an awesome man. He was always full of smiles and words of encouragement and was so much fun to talk to!! I will miss him very much!! I love you "Dommy" xoxoxo

I don't look at it as the world losing a wonderful person, I look at it as Heaven gaining one of the most amazing men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. They dont make people like Thor in this world anymore and its a shame because he truly was one of the greatest men Ive ever known. I will miss him dearly now and always. ~Someone whos live he touched deeply.

Thor was a great example to what enjoying life was all about , there is not a day that goes by that the internet commitee that he touched will never be forgotten , he will always be in hearts , minds and prayers always as a man that showed all of us what it means to have fun , laugh and make the most it. I married into the Laniloa Family, of Briggs-Izumi-Corboy,learned to cook at the Ualakaa House, enjoyed many a good time in Renton and great reunions on Mauna Place and at Arcadia.  Tui often stayed with us for Punahou events.  He will be missed.  We are glad Matt can be with you today to represent all the Corboys.

i met thor on paltalk we became friends im 63 and we loved listening to oldies.he was always there for me when things went bad in my life and he always knew how to make me feel better i miss him so much what a great person he is always worried about everyone else but himself i love u thor u will always be remembered and in my heart

Thor was a kind man who embraced me as a friend immediately upon meeting. He was always full of laughter. I never met him in person, however the time I knew him from our chats He was just like family to me. Thank you Thor for all the memories and I will always smile when I hear the songs you used to sing. May your family be blessed with many great memories of the kindest man I knew.

Blessings to all the Briggs from their Hawaii family, the Corboys who knew all the Briggs (and Briggs Hilton!) from Laniloa days. Tuey was a month older than I am and he was always taking the upper hand because he was older--but I already had two older brothers. We all have fond memories...he fell out of the tree and broke his arm and we were afraid to tell Leome that he was hurt, all learning to drive up Ualakaa and swinging into the driveway, the parties, the Punahou days. We were so jealous when he got to work the World Fair in Seattle...he always worked hard at finding fun. He was too young to go and the memories of him will last. Much aloha and love to all.

Thor (Tuey) was a childhood friend of mine. We went to Punahou School, together as well as Central Union Church. He was our BESTMAN when Tom (Scott) and I got married in 1966 at Central Union. I worked for Thor at the Boeing Company from 1987-1989.  He was my fun boss. He did things his own way, inside or outside the normal scope of business.  He was more a friend than a boss.  He will be missed.

We were looking forward to another reunion & golf outings this March and to being a distant neighbor in our new place in Sun City West.  I think I’ll miss his smile & big laugh the most.  Thor was a generous friend and fabulous host.

"No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why,"   This is exactly how I felt when I found out about Thor's passing.  He was a wonderful man, kind and generous to everyone.  I'm thankful for the memories we'll all have of golf trips, dinners, Christmas parties and our reunion potluck in Arizona last year.  He will definitely be missed.

What a great guy and host! Enjoyed many get togethers when we've traveled to Arizona. Lot's of golfing fun over the years. He will be greatly missed.
