Tim was born on December 21st, 1970 to Candy & Larry Winklepleck in Phoenix, AZ. Tim spent most of his adult life designing fire sprinkler systems for commercial businesses.
Tim loved most anything with wheels, but especially his KTM dirt bike, which he learned to ride with his brothers when they were very young. He also loved remote control airplanes and cars, and for much of his life was a part of the amateur model yachting community. Most of all, Tim loved dogs, and leaves behind Toby, his rescue dog.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Chester and Dorothy Russell, Aunt Debbie Russell, Uncle Gary Winklepleck, cousins Rachael Massey and Shelly Hitchcock. He is survived by paternal grandparents Mary and Gerald Winklepleck, wife Shannon Albert, step daughter Madeleine, parents Larry and Candy Winklepleck, brothers Mike Winklepleck (Heidi), Ryan Winklepleck (Carisa), 5 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews and lots of loved aunts, uncles and cousins by the dozens.
We are planning a celebration of life, but have not yet landed on a date and time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tim’s name to the Mayo Clinic, an organization that gave Tim a second chance at life (liver transplant) and kept him healthy for nearly 23 years after. Please designate your gift to the Transplant Department for your donation.
