

Toney Robinson was born in Gravelly, Arkansas on February 11th, 1919 to his parents Laura Elizabeth and Frank Robinson. He came to be with his Savior on Sunday, February 19th, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. When he was a young man, he joined the navy and it was decided that he could best help in the war effort by aiding in the production of food and serving as a cowboy on a ranch in Oklahoma. After this, he moved to Albuquerque New Mexico, where he learned his trade, glazing. He then moved to Tucson, Arizona where he opened a shop called American Paint & Glass. It was there that he met the love of his life, Shirley, and he also fell in love with Arizona, because of its great opportunities for hunting and enjoying the outdoors. He eventually moved into the Phoenix area and opened a Glass Shop in Scottsdale, named Acme Scottsdale Glass. Along with his wife of 55 years, Shirley, he is survived by his 3 sons, Toney Jr, Kevin, and Keith and his 3 daughters Barbara, Donna, and Michelle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, along with another one on the way. His memorial services will be held on Friday the 24th of February at Phoenix Christian Assembly, 2030 N 36th street, Phoenix, AZ, beginning at 7:00 in the evening.
