Truus “Trudy” Best was born on March 4, 1928 in Rotterdan, Holland. She immigrated to the U.S where she lived in Long Island, New York from 1963-1971 then moved to Phoenix in 1971 to the present day. On the morning of June 26, 2014 she was reunited with Pa and Jacylyn. Trudy was a private nurse and did a lot of volunteer work for the city of Glendale and the city of Phoenix as well as the Phoenix Police Department. After she retired she found a love of the outdoors and ceramics. She also enjoyed singing and loved to make people laugh and smile. She is survived by five sons, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed! WE LOVE YOU! An 11am Memorial Service will be held at Advantage Maryvale Chapel at 6901 W. Indian School Rd in Phoenix in her honor on Friday, July 11, 2014.
