Vera Faye King

Vera was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Ray, daughter Joyce Neal, brother Van Humble, and sister Wilma Berdine. Vera is survived by her daughter Genia Faye Abbott (Robert) of Phoenix AZ, grandchildren Jackie King-Denike (Johnathan), Ryan King (Brandi), Michelle Neal, and Robert Abbott, great-grandchildren Chloe, Aurora, Nathan, Evyn, and Hayden. Vera enjoyed her church, family and friends, and being a teacher for special needs children. She also enjoyed crafting, cooking for potluck meals, and decorating for the different seasons and holidays. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to go to Special Olympics or the Heart Association.

Visitation will take place at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona, US, on March 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
