

Vera was born on September 27, 1950, in the village of Dolno Dupeni, Macedonia, to Mitre and Tronda Nicevski. In the mid-1960s, she immigrated with her family to Flint, Michigan.
In 1968, Vera married the love of her life, Damian "Dime" Vasilov of Toronto, Canada. Together they shared a lifetime of love, hard work, and devotion, building a beautiful family and creating countless cherished memories.
She was the proud and loving mother of three children: daughters Eileen (Soto) Talidis Dorothy (Alex) Stefanovich, and son Michael. Nothing brought Vera greater happiness than spending time with her family. She was also a wonderful and loving eldest sister to Menka (Alex) Nedanis, Luba (Paul) Yosheff and Risto (Betty) Nicevski. Vera was a teta (aunt) to eight nieces and nephews.
Vera leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Christopher
Stefanovich, Demitri (Rand) Talidis, Menka Talidis, and Slave (Kcee) Stefanovich. She was also blessed with three precious great-grandchildren: Damian Stefanovich, Olina Stefanovich, and William Stefanovich. She treasured every visit from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter filled her heart with joy.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Vera spent more than 25 years working for Ford in Toronto, Canada. Through her commitment and determination, she helped provide a loving home and a bright future for her family.
More than 35 years ago, Vera and Damian fulfilled their dream of settling in Phoenix, Arizona, where they enjoyed the warmth of the desert. Vera especially loved baking for those she loved and creating traditions that will be remembered for generations.
Vera was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Damian "Dime" Vasilov, her mother, Tronda Nicevski and her father Mitre Nicevski. Though her time apart, with her husband was brief, their love was lifelong, and her family finds comfort in knowing they are together once again.
