She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 19th, 1956.
Virginia graduated from Central High School.
She was married to Ronald Peoples on May 24, 1975.
Virginia was always active in her children’s education and activities. She regularly volunteered in the classroom and soon began working as an instructional aide. She continued to work as an attendance clerk and impacted students for over 30 years with Madison School District.
She had a passion for arts and crafts, most notably cross stitching. She enjoyed collecting various items including collectable Barbie's, souvenir spoons, and glassware of all sorts.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald, sons, Brian and Dennis, daughter-in-law, Vivianne Dougnac, and grandchildren, Ian and Valentina.
