My memory with Virginia was when my friend and I visited her in Palo Alto, California. She was a wonderful host and took us around the area to wonderful and beautiful sites. She was proud to show us Standford Hospital where she worked. She took us to restaurants that had fabulous food. We went out and about town with her and she was the most gracious cousin to visit.

Sorry about your loss. I did not see Virginia much through the years but I loved hearing about her traveling adventures.

Virginia was a good friend. We met at Phoenix Baptist. She was my mentor as she was a case manager and I was a medical coder. She taught me how to communicate with doctors and nurses, and introduced me to other staff. She was well respected by all the staff for her knowledge and helpfulness. I will miss our monthly get togethers with our little group of friends.

My condolences to all the Rios family in the loss of your sister, aunt and friend. Virginia always gave of herself and was ready to help the family members throughout her life. She was a caretaker and never complained about any task put to her.

I will always remember our many trips together, we saw the world. She was a great traveling companion, always willing to try anything and enjoyed herself. We had known each other over 50 years and she will always be in my thoughts. Carol
