Virginia Hershey Rubi

We celebrate the life of Virginia (Hershey) Rubi who passed away on August 27, 2021. She was born on October 31,1959 in Phoenix, Arizona and was born to Carmen Rubi. Hershey was raised in Phoenix Arizona and remained in the state her entire life where she graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1977.

Hershey is survived by her three children, Michael Valdez (Melissa), Gina Garcia (Lawrence) and Daniel Flores(Lysette). She has five amazing grandchildren, Alyssa & Christopher Tejada, Serenity Garcia, Chris & Adylene Flores. Hershey is also survived by her siblings Sally (Bill) Allaire, Delores Duran, Arturo (Leticia) Rubi and scores of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will dearly miss her loving presence in their lives.

Hershey had a love for her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a way of bringing people together with her smile and infectious laugh. She cherished time spent with family and friends and always inspired those around her with her positive and upbeat persona. She loved and truly cared for everyone she met. Along with spending time with her family she enjoyed shopping, cooking and watching her favorite TV shows and enjoyed going out to eat.
