VITA MARANO, 62, passed away on January 31, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. Vita was born on May 24, 1957 to SALVATORE MARANO and PAULINE (DIFILIPPI) MARANO in Detroit, Michigan. Vita attended East Detroit High School graduating class of 1975; continued her education at Macomb County Community College. Vita worked as a REAL ESTATE AGENT and was one of a few agents that obtained a license at the age of 18 years old. Vita also worked from 1975 to 2012 as a Recruiter both in Michigan and Arizona. Vita enjoyed playing darts, going to the casino, collecting model cars and visiting Disneyland frequently. She liked to write poetry and was good at it. Vita had a great outlook on life. I found the following while I was arranging her desk. She Titled it: “Giving Thanks” Soon we will all be giving Thanks for all that we are grateful for. I find that I’m Thankful for being on this Earth each and every day with the ability to share my life with those who are most Important to me. If I had to choose who I am grateful to be sharing this space with, it would be my Sister. She inspires me to achieve my full potential. She believes in me and she has my back at every turn.

Vita was a very kind person and always helping people in need. She was a loving daughter and a wonderful sister. Vita never said no to anyone that needed her help.

Vita is survived by her best friend and sister, Marianne (Marano) Vallejo. She also survived by her Niece, Gabrielle (Marano) Kammeyer, Nephew Eric Kammeyer, her great niece, Savannah Marano, her Aunt Marianna (DiFilippi) Merlotti, Cousins Vincie (Merlotti) Simmons and Vita Merlotti, Vita Ciara Merlotti and Thomas Merlotti. She was preceded in death by her Father Salvatore Marano, her Mother Pauline Marano, her Brother Angelo Marano, Niece Danielle Marano, and Uncle Jack DiFilippi.

Marianne would have me over to keep her computers working. Her mother and sister, Vita all lived together. Wonderful family. Vita was a feisty lady. She will be missed.
