

He was born on February 7, 1938, in Utah, to Reed and Vidella Vance. He was one of five children.
Wallace graduated from the University of Utah and went on to build a successful career as an architect, where his creativity and attention to detail were evident in every project he touched.
He married Judy Pulham and together they raised five children: Stephanie Vance, Natalie (Mike) Sorenson, Nathan Vance, Jason (Christy) Vance, and Heather (Brian) Allen. Wallace was a proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Wallace served faithfully in many callings throughout his life. His testimony and consistent effort to help those he loved, reflected his faith and love for the gospel.
He had many interests and hobbies that filled his days with joy and creativity — fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, painting, creating stained glass art, and working on his lathe. Wallace was happiest when using his hands to build, create, or serve others.
He is survived by his five children and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, his brother, and one sister.
Wallace will be remembered for his craftsmanship, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his faith. His legacy of creativity will live on in all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 325 W Coral Gables Dr, Phoenix, Arizona 85023.
