William B. Berletic, 84, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Wednesday (January 24, 2018) at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Born in McKeesport, Pa. He came here 42 years ago after retiring for the United States Air Force with 20 plus years of Honorable and Faithful service in 1975 after meeting his wife Lumduan from Thailand. He served in Vietnam and the Korean War. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 9400. Later on he retired from the City of Phoenix with 22 years of dedication and hard work with the Water Services Department. He was a member of the "Twenty-Eighty Club" where he had accumulated over 2,080 hours (one full year) of unused sick leave credits. Survivors include his wife Lumduan Berletic; two stepsons, Sakda (Fred) Phoewanchana, Saksit (Nok) Berletic all live in Phoenix; one sister Dorothy Berletic, Pennsylvania, and three grandchildren, Thailer age 16, Alyssa age 16, Chelsea age 9.
