

William Morris Davis, 88, native of Phoenix, passed away at home on October 9, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. Bill was born to Jesse Clarence Davis and Mary Mildred Davis on December 24, 1926. Bill attended Roosevelt and Chandler grammar schools and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1944. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked at Ray Copper Mine, for American Health Studios and Holsum Bakery for 30 plus years retiring as Vice President of Sales. In retirement, he enjoyed working at Camelback Golf Course. He was active in the Phoenix 20-30 club, Arizona Grocers Association and Arizona Restaurant Association. William M. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jesse Clarence Davis Jr. and Joseph Edward Davis, son William Morris Davis Jr. and his grandson, Jeff Davis. William M. Davis is survived by his wife, Diane, his children, Michael Davis, Denis (Randy) Hansen of Phoenix, Anita (Clark) Eaves of Scottsdale, and Robin DuBoc of Encino, CA, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 nephews and 3 nieces. Celebration of Life will be held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary on October 18, 2015 at 3:00pm, 710 W Bethany Home Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower St, Phoenix AZ 85014, Arizona Patriot Guard Riders, 18033 N 49th Ave, Glendale AZ 85308, and/or the American Cancer Society.
