

William Bruce Morgan, born on October 2, 1945, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Kelsey and Nadine Morgan, William grew into a man whose life was defined by devotion, humility, and a steadfast commitment to serving God and others.
“Bruce” was a heavy diesel mechanic for over 40 years where he found a true passion for fixing things. He worked at several jobs before finding his home with the City of Glendale, from which he retired.
For 59 years, William shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with his beloved wife, Donna Maria Mitchell, the love of his life and his trusted partner in every season. Together they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and unwavering love.
William was a proud and caring father to his children:

His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren—Maxwell, Juniper, Damien, and Spencer—and his step great-grandchildren Jade and Gwen, all of whom he cherished deeply.
William also held close to his heart other loved ones who were part of his extended family: Autumn Morgan, Dalila Rose Morgan, Song Morgan (Pat), and Orion Wilson. Their presence enriched his life, and he embraced each of them with the same generosity of spirit that defined him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kelsey and Nadine, and by his beloved grandson, Noah Thomas O’Neal, whose memory remained close to his heart.
William’s life was marked by service—to his family, his community, and his faith. He was a great husband, father, brother, friend, mentor, and servant of God. His steady guidance, gentle humor, and deep compassion made him a pillar of strength to all who knew him. His devotion to Christ shaped every decision, every kindness, and every act of love he offered throughout his life.
Those who loved him will remember his unwavering faith, his quiet wisdom, and the way he made each person feel valued. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of love, faith, and devotion lives on in the generations he helped shape.
William was a longstanding member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Phoenix for over 50 years where he raised his family, taught Sunday School, was active with the youth, and was a Stephen’s Minister. He was involved with Arizona Walk to Emmaus and Marriage Encounter where he made life long friends!

A visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 3104 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85051, on December 15, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Serenity Chapel at 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, Arizona 85009 on December 16, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Following the funeral, a committal service will be conducted at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 2300 West Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85009, on December 16, 2025, at 12 pm.
