

William S. Terry passed away at his home in Black Canyon City, AZ on July 24th 2020. William was born to his parents Charles Roy Terry and Ann Hunter Terry in Evanston, IL on October 11th 1956. William spent the majority of his youth in the Glenview and Northfield areas of Illinois. For the last 13 years, William made his home in Phoenix and Black Canyon City Arizona.
William is survived by his son William C. Terry who lives in Phoenix and also by his older brother Tom Terry who resides in Souix Lookout, Ontario, Canada. William was preceeded in death by his oldest brother Richard Terry. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will all miss him dearly. William also left behind his 2 constant and loving K9 companions Cleo and Bogey.
William was a certified mechanic for many years and that eventually led to him successfully becoming self employed, owning and operating his own business for over 2 years while still living in the Chicagoland area. In 2007 William moved to Arizona and purchased his home in Black Canyon City a few years later to enjoy his retirement.
William had an amazing love of the outdoors, which came from many years of canoe and camping trips in Souix Lookout with his family as a young man. From this he loved to go camping and fishing every chance he got. William was also an animal lover, owning many dogs and even a few cats during his life.
Williams other love was Chicago sports. He often spoke about one of his favorite memories being watching the Cubs win the World Series in 2016. He was also a huge Bears fan always hoping to see another Super Bowl win.
William had an easy going manner and easily made friends where ever he was who will also miss him dearly.
Due to current pandemic conditions, William will be cremated according to his wishes. A memorial will be planned at a later date to celebrate his life.
