Mrs. Yin Tai Lam, retired semi-conductor worker, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from respiratory complications. Mrs. Lam was born on October 9, 1942 in China and immigrated to the United States in 1969. She worked at Motorola for over 20 years. She retired in 1995 and in her later years she enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks and traveling. She especially liked family functions and cruise vacations. Mrs. Lam was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Lam; mother, Ong Toy Lin; father, Szeto Yue Wei. Mrs. Lam is survived by her sister, Cheung Chi Tai; sister, Mrs. Heung Ong; sister, Chi Huan Tan; brother, Tony Situ; son, Dr. George Lam and wife, Michele; son, Henry Lam; son, Dr. Frank Lam and wife, Bonnie; grandchildren: Hayden, Reese, Ethan, Parker, Courtlyn and Harrison; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. with Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
