Ysidro Valverde Aragon passed away January 27, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 83. Ysidro was born to Francisco M. Aragon and Angelina V. Aragon on May 17, 1935 in Deming, New Mexico. He was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He married the love of his life Lydia G. Aragon on January 19, 1978. Ysidro worked as a landscaper and was the owner of Aragon Landscape. Ysidro was a fun and loving man. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren meant the world to him and he would treasure family gatherings more than anything. Ysidro was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Francisco M. Aragon, mother Angelina V. Aragon, 3 sisters; Natalia Iduarte, Cruz Moreno and Maria Perrault, 2 brothers; Louis Aragon and Isa (Tata) Aragon. He is survived by his wife; Lydia G. Aragon, 1 sister; Eva Aragon, 6 children; Patrick Aragon, Orlando Aragon, Ysidro Aragon Jr., Virginia Olguin, Barbara Aragon and Cecelia Cervantes, 6 step-children; Richard Avelar, Mike Avelar, Ray Avelar, Mercy Amaro, Catherine Hernandez, Gilbert Ruiz and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Greer Wilson Chapel 5921 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85033. Funeral Service will take place Thursday, January 31, 2019, 12:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 3140 N. 51st Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85031 following a Graveside Service at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85009.
