On the beautiful morning of March 27, 1988 Ziba Marija Loyd was born in Boynton Beach, Florida and placed in Ruta (her mother's) arms. The unique Lithuanian name Ziba was given to her, meaning shimmer and shine which in life became very fitting for her personality. Ziba remained in Florida with her immediate family and finished school and enjoyed being an accomplished gymnast in her early childhood. While growing up Ziba embraced the chance of sharing a home and one of her most cherished relationships with her grandmother Albina Norkus (may she rest in peace). Throughout life she also enjoyed trips to the nearby beach, taking family trips during the summer to North Carolina along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some of her other earlier fond trips were to Nova Scotia and traveling to Disney World.
In 2004, she relocated with her family to Goodyear, Arizona where she obtained her official Dental Assisting degree. She continued to embrace life and living up to the meaning of her name spending time with her nephews and niece as compassion was Ziba's greatest attribute. Caring for others, making friends and talking to everyone, Ziba felt that it was important to put a smile on everyone's face no matter where she was. During the evening of October 2nd at 6:15pm, she passed quietly in the hospital with her family by her side. She was loved abundantly and we know that she now watches over us in peace.
She is surpassed by her immediate family members: her mother Ruta Marija Loyd, her father Bradford Loyd, Sr, oldest sister Jennifer Maggiore and older brother Bradford Loyd, Jr.
