Zotha Jean Wilson Stringham,

In the early morning hours of November 20, 2021, Jean Stringham passed from this life and into the care of our Lord, and arms of her deeply loved husband, George W. Stringham. Jean was born May 30, 1933, in Salt Lake City Utah to Charles McMills Wilson and Zotha Beasley, the youngest of 6 children. She married George January 20, 1953, in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Our beloved Jean was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all she knew. A truly faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She was a woman of a quiet, patient, kind, listening, and loving nature, and a host of talents. Whether sewing a dress for a granddaughter, tole painting a piece of furniture, baking yellow jello cake for a birthday, or providing loving counsel, she was busy blessing those she loved. This included many years of searching, and recording her ancestor’s genealogy, that they too may be blessed.

Jean is survived by her children William Scott Stringham, Rebecca “Becky” Bushman (Nephi), Caite Bellavia (Charles W), Charles David "Dave" Stringham (Deena), George Mathew "Matt" Stringham, Richard Enoch "Rich" Stringham (Neicia), Steven Jay Stringham (Marla), Jennifer Grover (Tim), Susan “Suzi” Johnson (Cory), Varah (loved foster daughter), 33 grandchildren, and 40+ (and growing) great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am Friday December 10th, in the LDS chapel on 8602 N 31st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85051. A family viewing will be held at 8:30am. A public viewing will be held one hour prior (9:00am) to the service for friends and family. A family luncheon at the chapel will be held at 11:30, with interment services following at 12:30pm at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
