Alasdair Davidson Pickens, South Carolina Alasdair Davidson, 79, husband of Janette Steele Davidson, passed from this life Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Davidson was born in Clydebank, Scotland a son of the late Alexander and Emma Mackenzie Davidson. Alasdair was a United States Air Force Veteran, a retired mechanical engineer, lifelong Mason and Shriner and he enjoyed visiting with his five granddogs. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty years Janette S. Davidson of the home, two daughters; Fiona J. Davidson and her husband Don Lusk of Liberty, Lorna Ann Lasure and her husband Noel of Piedmont and a brother; Charles Davidson of Toronto, Canada. A service to celebrate a life well lived will be held 3 PM Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Alzheimer’s Association by visiting www.alz.org to donate in Alasdair’s memory. The family is at the home. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Davidson family.
