Mr. Alex Edge

Alex was born in Columbia, SC on February, 24, 1953 to the late Burton and Dorothy Edge. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, graduate of J.L. Mann High School, and Greenville Tech.

Alex is survived by his loving wife of 36 years: Cheryl Lesley Edge; four siblings: Jim Edge (Laura), Hazel Blanken, Michael Edge (Donna), and Jeannie Hedrick (Alan); brother-in-law: Randy Lesley (Becky); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Alex was preceded in death by two siblings: Roy Edge and Bobbie Morris.

Funeral services to honor and remember his life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:45 AM until 12:45 PM prior to the service.

Memorial donations may be made to Pickens County Humane Society or Pickens County Meals on Wheels.
