

Tony was born March 7, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to William and Louise Champlin.
Tony, a successful entrepreneur established the Easley Lawn and Garden Equipment with his devoted wife, Brenda, in 1980, retiring in 2014. Tony could repair anything, autos, appliances, computers and even a broken spirit when the situation called for it. He was there to help anyone in need as a mentor, confidant and friend. Despite his humble beginnings or because of them, Tony was remarkably resilient and had tremendous fortitude. His fantastic sense of humor got them through difficult times in their lives. Tony was a humble man of integrity and honor, living his life with purpose and putting the needs of his family before himself. He was the rock of his family and a shining example of a man who loved Jesus. Tony adored his loving wife of almost 60 years. She was his valued partner in business and in their home.
Tony loved his church and was a faithful member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church for 40 years, going on mission trips and helping others in any way he could. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by his son Anthony Champlin, Jr; and his daughter Julie Champlin Brannan; his grandson Ryan Stancell (April) and his grandson Conner Stancell (Brittany); and 3 great-grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by his Parents; and his brother William Champlin.
A memorial service for Tony will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 100 Clay Street, Easley, SC 29642.
