Mrs. Betty R Bell

August 23, 1932December 4, 2018

Mrs. Betty Robertson Bell, 86, of Greenville, went home to be with her late husband, Larry Clinton Bell and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at NHC Healthcare of Laurens.

Born on August 23, 1932, in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Furman and Icie Ree Robertson. Mrs. Bell grew up in the Poinsett Mill village. Her childhood community consisted of caring neighbors who were always willing to help each other. She would often tell her family “Poinsett was the greatest place to grow up in the whole world”. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley, SC, and enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg, TN with her husband. Mrs. Bell was a Godly woman, having a strong, loving relationship with the Lord, her husband, children and grandchildren. She was also a prayer warrior. One of her children’s fondest memories of their mother was seeing her kneeling in prayer everyday.

Surviving are her daughter, Connie Ader (David); son, Keith Bell (Kim); sister, Patricia Cassity; three grandchildren, Jessica Conner, Clint Conner (Shanna Jo), and Lauren Bell and one great-granddaughter, Saylor James Connor.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 4 to 6 PM Dillard Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor David Gallamore officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home.
