Brenda Hamilton

Born in Greenville, SC on January 16,1960, to the late John and Christine Sargent.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was deeply devoted to her faith and her church family, always finding comfort and joy in attending services and church events. Brenda’s kindness knew no bounds, she was the first to offer a listening ear or lend a helping hand, and she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Her laughter and warmth could light up any room, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, especially during family gatherings. Riding her wheelchair into town, she remained active and connected with her community, always eager to share a smile or a kind word.

Brenda is survived by her children: Greg Hester (Ann Smith), Joe Hester (Amy Hester), and Juliann Hamilton (Deaja Smith); and her grandchildren: Aaron Hester, Abby Collins, Christine Langen, Jewelz White, Izabella White, and Delilah White. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Taylor; niece, Lacey Taylor; and nephews, Luke Taylor and Justin Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, James Sargent.
