Charles C. Holcombe Easley, SC Charles Curran Holcombe of 124 Ballentine Street passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his home. Born in Easley, he was the son of the late W.L. and Ollie Mae Swayngham Holcombe. Mr. Holcombe was retired after 21 years of service from The United States Air Force. He also retired from 3M US in Greenville and was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church in Liberty. Surviving is his wife, Mary Sue Wilson Holcombe; a step son, Jack Johnson (Julie); and a grandson, Matthew Johnson; In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Patsy Harbin. The family will receive friends Friday, November 28, 2014 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Dillard Funeral Home with the service to follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors.
