Christine "Tina" Burke

Christine (Tina) Burke of Easley, SC has lost her battle with cancer on August 13, 2017. Tina was born on February 9th, 1969 in Long Branch, NJ. She is survived by her husband Tim, her son Toby Burke of Easley, SC, her daughter Tyra Whitlock of Pickens, SC, her grandchildren Abigail, Alora and Cooper, her sister Patricia Heidemann of Wiesbaden, Germany and her nephew Justin Heidemann of Wiesbaden, Germany. Tina was raised in Germany in her early life. In November of 1985 she met her husband (while he was in the US Army) in Wiesbaden, Germany, then was married in March of 1988. Her first child/son was born in November of 1989 in Erlangen, Germany. Her second and last child/daughter was born in May of 1992 in Easley, SC. Tina will be loved and remembered for her love for Jesus, her family and her friends. Tina will be in a closed casket viewed only by family and be cremated prior to visitation and the memorial service, her ashes will be taken home after the services. The public is encouraged to come to visitation and the memorial service. Tina wished for these events to be happy and upbeat as possible. She wants to be remembered for the happy times and her love for her family. Visitation will be 2-3 PM, Friday, August 18, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home. Celebration of Tina's life memorial service will be 3:30 PM, Friday, August 18, 2017 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel.
