Dorothy Black Rhodes, 57, of Easley, South Carolina, the wife of Jimmy Dean Rhodes, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 23, 2017. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John Harold and Martha Shirley Black. Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Jimmy Dean Rhodes; a daughter, Lisa Christine Robinson (Brandon Earle), and a son, James Thomas Rhodes; ten grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda McMichael, Marilyn Williams, and Martha Jane Davis. Mrs. Rhodes was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Donna Harper and Patricia Bearden, and a brother, James Black. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Pruitt Hospice and to Mrs. Rhodes sisters, Linda McMichael, Marilyn Williams, and Martha Jane Davis for their love and support.
