

Evelyn Bryant Durham, 76, went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and precious Nana. Mrs. Durham was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late T. B. and Maude Bryant. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of West End Baptist Church in Easley. Survivors include her husband, James C. Durham, Jr., and she was the mother of Sandy Evatt (Morris), Sharon West (Mike), Scott Durham (Kim), and the late Ronald Durham. She was Nana to Jeremy, Dustin, Parker, Brad, Blake, Desiray, Gage, Emilee, Ryan, Brandon, Evan, Justin, Griffin, and Gracie and great grandmother to Wrenn, Sophia, Mason, Kyra, Bryant, baby Evatt, Tucker and Maddie and step-mother of Jerry Durham (Tammy), Angie Smith (Aaron) and Gerald Durham (Angie). Also surviving is a sister, Violet Connelly (Reverend Jack) and a brother, Bobby Bryant. Mrs. Durham was twice married, first to the late Bill Durham. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, June 19, 2015 at West End Baptist Church in Easley. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her loving niece, Michelle Bryant Franco for being her caregiver for the past 3 years.
