Evelyn "Jet" (Durham) Pelfrey

Mrs. Pelfrey was born in Pickens, South Carolina, on August 26, 1941, to the late George Washington and Ethel Patterson Durham. She retired from Ryobi after 35 years. Mrs. Pelfrey was a member at Keowee Baptist Church. She loved being a housewife to her husband of 27 years, Roger Pelfrey.

In addition to her husband Roger, Mrs. Pelfrey is survived by one daughter: Tammy Gunter; two grandchildren: Chelsea Adams and Dusty Adams; and two sisters: Bonnie Masters and Mary Young.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pelfrey was preceded in death by an infant daughter; three brothers: Monroe, Floyd, and Edgar Durham.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM in the Garden Room at Dillard Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Keowee Baptist Youth program.
