

Six Mile, SC - Mrs. Frances Ester Gilliland Stewart, 94, loving wife of the late Robert Lee Stewart, Sr., of Six Mile, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at Manna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pickens.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Easley, SC on September 11 1927 to the late Frank D. and Edith Smith Gilliland. She was a strong, hard working woman that always had a heart and passion to serve others. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her family was the most important thing in her life. For the last 20 years, she has been touching lives among the nurses and patients at Manna in Pickens. A true "Jill of All Trades", she could fix anything that broke or operate anything that needed to be ran. She was a faithful member of Keowee Baptist Church and enjoyed witnessing to anyone she met.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her three children: Diane Williams of Six Mile, Rev. Bobby Stewart (Glenda) of Six Mile, and Johnny Stewart (Stacy) of Seneca; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and seven siblings: Jeanette, Joe, Doris, David, Larry, Harold, and Tommy.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by two children: Shirley Bearden and Wayne Stewart; and six siblings: Lyda Faye, Margaret, Domer, Otis, Elizabeth, and Cleo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Friday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.
