Mr. Duncan was born in Pickens County on August 7, 1943 to the late Dealus Dexter Duncan and Avanelle Arnold Duncan-Archie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked for over 45 years in the Foster Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company as a weaver. Mr. Duncan never fully retired, because after leaving Alice, he loved to grow vegetables in his garden and raise animals such as rabbits, pigs and chickens. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to any show that was related to gasoline engines, and anything that was related to John Deere products.
Mr. Duncan is survived by two sons: Greg Duncan (Leigh Ann) of Easley and Scott Duncan of the home; two grandchildren: Skye Grant (Benjamin) of Seneca and Dexter Duncan (Destiny) of Pickens; three great-grandchildren: Grayson and Asher Duncan and Willow Grant; four brothers: James "Flip" Duncan (Louise) of Pelzer, Kenneth Duncan (Cynthia) of Easley, Ivy Duncan of Easley, and Ray Von Duncan of Duncan; and one sister: Nellie Owens.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at HIllcrest Memorial Park.
