Mr. George B Williams

George Bill Williams, 77, husband of Louise Anthony Williams, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Williams was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Gus and Tea Aiken Williams and grandson of the late Artie Aiken. He was retired from the Gayley Plant of Milliken Company and he was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Anthony Williams of the home, step-son, Tony Turner (Joan) of Pickens and a brother, J. Phil Williams (Shelby) of Greenville. Also surviving are nieces, Dr. Sherry Williams and Cindy W. Appleton (Tom).

In addition to his parents and grandmother, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Gary Williams.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Veteran’s Garden of Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
