It was always a treat when our paths crossed, often in Calhoun Falls, at Plez-U.  I could count on a warm greeting from Jerry,  knowing it was sincere and honest.  But that smile took second place to the    sparkle in his eye.  Our lives are marked by the paths of friends and acquaintances that pass over us.  So it was with you, my friend, Jerry.

Patti to your family. Your husband was a dear friend. We became friends in the 1970s. Even though through life, paths take diffent directions no matter where I ran into Jerry, you, or all of you we exchanged love and hugs and just enjoyed a little catching up. So sorry for your loss. Me my sister Stella and sister Angela worked one of our first jobs as teenagers for the Jacks family. I’ve only know Jerry for going on 8 years now. I met him through working with his daughter, Mallory,  at Timms Harley-Davidson. Before I met him I knew what a wonderful, protective father he was. Just by hearing Mallory speak of him. After I met Jerry “Papa Jacks” I soon learned he was also a great husband, then came grand baby. He was always such a light of positivity walking through those double doors at the shop. But when he become a Papa, it was so awesome to see that joy. We shared many many conversations just passing through my department to get to Miss Robin in Parts. I loved hearing all about his adventures. Each time I knew he would have a great story to tell. These last few visits I’d get to see how much the baby had grown & how the business was going. 
To the family, we are thinking of you & hoping you find peace. Just know you were the light of his life ❤️

So sad to hear of Gerald’s passing. He serviced  M&N Quickstop in Andersonfor years.  We will definitely keep your family in our prayers.

We met Gerry at Lake Russell Bait and Tackle in the 80's and it was always a pleasure to see his smiling face walk in the door.   Prayers to his family.  He will be greatly missed.

We were so very sorry to hear about Jerry's passing.  Such a great, large personality with a smile even larger and brighter! May God wrap his loving arms around you and carry your grief during this difficult time.

To Patti, Mallory and family... I will always remember Jerry for the way he could tell a story and make others laugh. I thought he should have his own podcast. His smile and energy transferred to anyone in his presence. There was no question about how much he adored you, Patti and Mallory. His granddaughter was the apple of his eye. Heaven has gained another angel. 


We grieve, but not as others who have no hope! My heart breaks for you all as you travel this road of unexpected grief. Our heavenly Father will carry you. Lean hard on him! I’m sure that Jerry and Ben are getting to know each other and are sitting at the feet of Jesus!
