Born on March 3, 1946 in Chesnee, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Ruth Mills. She was a devoted member of Welcome Baptist Church and had a special appreciation for painting. A dedicated homemaker, she found great joy in caring for her family and home. Above all Gladys loved spending time with her family and creating the memories they will cherish forever.
Gladys is survived by her son, David Mark Walker; and her daughter-in-law, Tammy Walker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Walter David Walker; sister, Betty Robertson; and her special furry companion, Cookie.
A graveside service for Gladys will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC.
