Mrs. Kirby was born in Easley, SC on June 4, 1946 to the late Alder Lee and Nettie Davenport Stancil. She spent most of her life as a caregiver for Sitter's Registry before retirement, and in her free time enjoyed cooking and baking. Mrs. Kirby loved to sing and play the piano. She was a strong Christian who loved Jesus and enjoyed sharing her Faith. Mrs. Kirby will always be known for her smile that would light up a room, and for her infectious laughter.
Mrs. Kirby is survived by three daughters: Tammy Kirby McCollum of Greenville, Pamela K. Nalley (Danny) of Easley, and Kim K. Sareault (Kevin) of Greer; six grandchildren: Joshua Nalley (Angelina) of Easley, Andrew Roberts (Hailey) of Greenville, Kyla Wales of Greenville, Savanna Sareault of Simpsonville, Brody Sareault of Greer, and Gage Sareault of Greer; two great-grandchildren: Carson Wales and Colton Wales, both of Greenville; and a sister: Florene Williams of Cincinnati, OH.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by a brother: Hovie Stancil; and two sisters: Lib Hall and Bessie Moll.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Thursday, prior to the service, at Dillard Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Carlyle Kay, her longtime caregiver and friend, along with his two sons: David and Roger Kay for their special care and concern for Mrs. Kirby throughout the years.
Special thanks is also due to the Staff of Heartland Hospice and Carolina Caregivers; along with Darlene Bridges for their care to Mrs. Kirby.
