Jack was born on February 7, 1930, the only child of the late Oel Jackson Blodgett and Rena Ethel Bedore Blodgett. He was a retired customer service representative from Florida Power and Light and a member of Marathon Community Church.
Surviving are his loving wife of 71 years, Dolores Marie Filer Blodgett, of Rock Hill, SC; two sons, Dean Blodgett and his wife Lynn of Ft. Collins, CO, and Jeff Blodgett and his wife Wanda of Rock Hill, SC; one daughter, Dawn Blodgett Cole of Rock Hill, SC; eight grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC.
