Born on January 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Clara and Clarence Thomas.
While James faced many tribulations throughout his life, he turned his life over to his Lord and Savior before his passing.
James is survived by his son, Arthur Thomas; and son, Johnny Thomas.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 10:30 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2432 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens SC.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Thomas; and son, Mitchell Thomas
