Easley, SC - Mrs. Janet Sue McNeely Hayes, 80, loving wife of the late Jesse D. Hayes, Jr., of Easley, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at The Parker Assisted Living and Memory Care in Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Hayes was born on November 25, 1942 in Pickens to the late Olin and Genetha Revis McNeely. She retired as an accounting clerk from Easley Combined Utilities, and was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church. Mrs. Hayes loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by her two children: Tammy Robinson (Tony) of Dacusville and Scott Hayes (Angie) of Liberty; six grandchildren: Jill Landers (William) of Dacusville, Jesse Hayes (Lacey) of Anderson, Cody Hayes of Anderson, Sam Robinson of Dacusville, Eric Robinson (Jessica) of Easley, and Grant Robinson of Dacusville; four great-grandchildren: Kenna Landers, Jaxon Hayes, Gracelyn Hayes, and Kori Robinson; and a brother: Ron McNeely (Carolyn) of Greenville.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Tuesday, at the cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the staff of The Parker Assisted Living and Memory Care, as well as the staff of Gentiva Hospice, for their love, care, and concern they showed to the family and Mrs. Hayes during her time with them.
