Jean was a graduate of Pickens High School and worked at BB&T Bank until she was diagnosed with MS. She loved the mountains and enjoyed watching the birds outside her home, but spending time with her grandson was one of greatest joys. She will be loved and missed dearly by her family and friends.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Norval Lyndon Hardy; son Dylan Lance Hardy; grandson Jace Nakoda Hardy; and sister Sandra Jones.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dora I. Hunter, father Wayne O. Hunter, stepfather Ralph Vinson, and brother Jimmy O. Hunter.
A memorial service for Jean will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671.
