Jerry Clyde Chastain

Jerry Clyde Chastain Pickens, South Carolina Jerry Clyde Chastain, age 67, husband of Gail Morgan Chastain went to be with Lord Thursday July 10, 2014 at his home. Mr. Chastain was born in Easley, SC a son of the late Lois Evelyn James Davis and William Harold Chastain. Mr. Chastain loved hunting, fishing and was an avid NASCAR Fan. He loved his family with all of his heart. He also served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife of thirty eight years, two daughters; Kari Chastain Bargeron and husband Jefferson of Pickens, Tinna Ellison and husband Tony of Easley, twin brother Kerry Carl Chastain and wife Carolyn of Shelbey, NC, brother Steve Kirk Chastain and wife Diane of Liberty, one half sister Jennifer Hellums of Sandy Springs, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Chastain was predeceased by his parents and daughter Terri Chastain. Visitation will be Thursday July 17, 2014 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm at the home of Lori Morgan, 523 Praters Creek Road, Pickens, 29671. Graveside service will follow at 6:00pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 1106 Robinson Bridge, Six Mile SC 29682. In lieu of flowers go huntin, go fishin or watch racin and Thank God for what you got!!!!! The family will be at their respective homes. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Chastain family.
